Welcome to Port Taranaki
At Port Taranaki we have a strong commitment to health and safety, with a focus on ensuring everyone who enters our site gets home safely, every day.
It takes all of us to achieve this. Therefore, safety at Port Taranaki is not negotiable, it is a condition of our right to work here, and it is the responsibility of every one of us to put health and safety first in all our actions. By completing our induction, we are all making that personal commitment.
In addition, Port Taranaki is committed to continuous improvement of health and safety performance, and our ethos of ‘see something, say something, do something’ is central to this. We provide the authority and support to each person involved in our business to immediately stop any unsafe or potentially unsafe acts as part of our health & safety policy. If you see an unsafe situation or a safety risk, stop the activity and tell your supervisor or manager, or contact your Port Taranaki liaison immediately so that action can be taken.
By working together, looking out for each other, and taking time to ensure our actions are safe, we will all get home safely, every day.
